Modeling + Tex + Rigging
We are doing Animatics, storyboard, modeling, texturing, and rigging in our pre production department.
Animatics are defined as series of images played in sequence, often with a soundtrack.
A storyboard is a series of drawings meant for pre-visualizing the shots of a movie. It is an essential tool for the director to get a sense of the way the movie is going to look and feel.
Every 3D object that is displayed in a 3D animation is made up of a 3D mesh that can be created using a wide range of techniques. Simply put, the process of creating mesh objects in 3D software is called 3D modeling.
Texturing in 3D animation is the process of dressing up 3D models with 2D pictures. Texture artists oversee giving 3D objects physical characteristics. The overall goal is to match the surface of the model to its concept art or real-world equivalent.
Rigging refers to the process of creating the bone structure of a 3D model. This bone structure is used to manipulate the 3D model like a puppet for animation.

Inspirational Animation Quotes
“Doing animation is closer to pretending than anything else you get to do. It’s much more like when you’re a kid putting on a character.”
Diedrich Bader
“I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained.”
Walt Disney
“What I love most about animation is, it’s a team sport, and everything we do is about pure imagination.”
Jeffrey Katzenberg
